The 7th arrondissement offers endless opportunities for long, fascinating walks.
Start, for example, from the banks of the Seine, looking over the Tuileries Gardens and Place de la Concorde. Heading west, you will come to the Pont Alexandre III, one of the most stunning bridges in Paris with its gilded statues and decorations. From the bridge, you will enjoy a magnificent view of the Hôtel des Invalides.
Following the river will lead you to the Eiffel Tower, the very symbol of Paris. On fine days, the vast gardens of the Champ de Mars at the foot of the Tower are thronged by picnickers drinking in the superb views of the Tower.
The surrounding streets are ideal for strolling along, lined with typically Parisian cafés, bakeries and luxury boutiques. The pedestrian section of Rue Clerc features a picturesque market and lots of bistros.
